Where does the Pamir get its name from?

The Pamir Highway in Tajikistan is the second highest paved highway in the world after the Karakorum Highway (4693 m) and the epitome of adventure! The high mountain landscapes of the Pamir Mountains are deserted and only a few people manage to live here under these harsh conditions.

• AL6061 Made in EU: The frames for Tout-Terrain's e-bikes with the Pinion E-Drive system have a frame-integrated battery, sliding dropouts with replaceable threaded nuts and a mount specially designed for the motor-gear unit. They are made in Europe and are made of the tried and tested AL6061 aluminum. This is an alloy that is often used in electronic products and household appliances, as well as aerospace components. It is characterized by very good corrosion resistance and optimal mechanical properties. It is also very easy to machine and weld. Before the individual frame parts are welded, the hydroforming process is also used in the manufacturing process. Aluminum tubes are placed in hollow molds and a hot oil-water mixture is pressed in at high pressure. This shapes the tubes into shapes that give our e-bikes a modern aesthetic and an individual touch.
• Pinion Smart.Shift: Pinion Smart.Shift combines reliable and almost maintenance-free gear shifting technology with the advantages of electric shifting. Shifting is done at the push of a button - quickly, ergonomically and intuitively. The system shifts while driving, when stationary and under load! The other functions are also smart: the starting gear can be selected individually and thanks to the integrated gear shift indicator in the e-bike display, the selected gear is visible while driving
• Compatible with belt drive: Get rid of oily, rusty chains and join the Gates Carbon Drive revolution: clean, smooth running, robust. Hardly any other component has brought the bicycle as a means of transport further in terms of low maintenance than the Gates Carbon Drive toothed belt. Especially in year-round use, it will delight you with its low maintenance requirements, because more than regular cleaning is all that is needed - and then it lasts twice to three times as long as a chain. As a belt supplier from the very beginning with over 10 years of experience, we have optimized our frames to such an extent that the opening for the belt to pass through is an integral part of the frame and visually completely unobtrusive. The connection is made of stainless steel and is therefore still easy to handle even after many years.
