The proven Airstripes back system on the Junior ensures good ventilation. The S-shaped shoulder straps with soft-edge finishes ensure carrying comfort and the chest strap keeps the backpack in place, even when moving quickly. In addition to the spacious inner compartment, the elastic front pocket and the two side pockets offer additional space for equipment. The extra robust, recycled, PFC-free material made from thirteen 0.5 liter PET bottles makes the bluesign® product, certified with the Green Button, a practical companion on expeditions through nature.

deuter air stripes
Airstripes upholstery with ventilation channels guarantee free air circulation on over 80% of the back thanks to their small contact surface - at the same time the backpack sits compactly and securely on the back with all movements.

210D PA Recycled
Sustainable: 50% of the yarn is made from recycled raw materials. The main material of the Futura series consists of bluesign® -certified material.

600D PES
Woven from 600 denier polyester yarn and with a thick PU coating, the tear-resistant and lightweight fabric can be used universally. When it comes to keeping the weight of the backpack as low as possible with medium loads, this is the ideal choice. The "deuter-Super-Polytex BS" variant is produced according to the strict bluesign® standard. Their equipment and durability are identical.

PFC free
This deuter product is free from perfluorinated and polyfluorinated chemicals. deuter thus reduces the use of environmentally harmful substances that harm the environment and health. Among other things, PFC is used as a coating to protect against rain because it has water, dirt and grease-repellent properties. Instead, deuter now uses DWR (durable water repellency) impregnation that is harmless to health and environmentally friendly.

bluesign® Product
Consumer products marked with the bluesign® Product label meet the strict safety and environmental requirements of the bluesign® system criteria. These products have been produced with bluesign® approved textiles and accessories in a resource-saving manner with minimal impact on people and the environment.
