The e1 chain in conjunction with its narrow KMC chainrings and sprockets enables e-bikes with hub gears to have a service life of at least 3,500 km.

EPT
The latest milestone from KMC in rust protection. The non-toxic EcoProTeQ treatment doubles the rust resistance compared to KMC's RB anti-rust treatment. The advantages of the very smooth coating are maximum rust resistance, low noise and a great look.

Nickel Plated
Nickel is an alloy metal that is mainly used for steel finishing. It makes steel corrosion-resistant, increases its hardness and toughness and is very effective as a rust protection.
