Praxis Works 1x chainrings have the WaveTech tooth arrangement developed in cooperation with MRP. The teeth are positioned alternately further to the right or further to the left of the center of the chainring and the characteristic wave movement occurs when you look at the blade from above while the crank is turning. The WaveTech design reduces the friction in the system and ensures a reliable hold of the chain even in adverse, muddy conditions, as the dirt has a lot less hold due to more space. WaveTech also ensures slower wear, as the load from the chain is distributed more evenly and over a larger area.
