The Ultraz model is around 10% lighter than the old long-sleeved winter skinFoil because ASSOS uses a circular seamless structure for this model. That means, this shirt is both silky soft and free of scratchy side seams. They also use a robust material made of polypropylene and wool that is designed for freezing temperatures - the ideal basis when absolute protection from the cold and wind is most needed.
