A new experience in cycling

Choosing new paths is not just a matter of attitude. This can also become the goal of a company that has been making bicycles for more than 116 years.

With the Rave SLR, Wilier Triestina has set her sights on new horizons. You have created a product that has two souls. One for Allroad, the other for Gravel. And both perfect for racing.

Expect the Unexpected

The Rave SLR can be equipped with a high-end road or high-end gravel groupset (tire width up to 42mm).

Light and reactive

To make the frame light, Wilier has used the same carbon compound as for example Filante SRL and Wilier 0 SRL.

And to make the frame responsive, they've used all of their experience working with technopolymers by blending carbon with specialty viscoelastic fibers like liquid crystal polymers. Construction technologies borrowed from those used at Filante SRL and Wilier 0 SRL: products with excellent handling, as confirmed by the most demanding drivers.

efficient

For Wilier, performance is an obsession that they have always pursued. At Rave SRL it couldn't be any other way. In concrete terms, the implementation of performance means: a light, reactive (possibly also rigid) frame with the geometry of a racing bike.

Balanced racing geometry

To create a frame with a balanced racing geometry, Wilier took the top racing bike models from the racing reference manufacturers as a starting point and mixed them with frame sizes from the endurance and gravel areas, without losing sight of the performance goal set at the beginning of the project . A slightly higher stack and a slightly shorter reach compared to pure road bikes, which in combination with the available monocoque carbon handlebars represent a perfect mixture of high performance and comfort.

Handlebars and integrated cables

Apart from the low weight, the monocoque handlebars 0-Bar and J-Bar offered for Rave SRL offer the possibility to take brake and gear cables and to lead them inside the frame. The handlebar/stem connection is characterized by an essential design with sinuous and rounded lines to guarantee the maximum ergonomics of the grip and to give the Rave SRL that typical elegance of Wilier Triestina's high-end products.

Easy fit spacers

The spacers between the frame's head tube and the handlebars are made of high-rigidity composite material and feature a special cavity for cable routing. The two-piece construction enables easy assembly and disassembly without additional work on the cables that run between the handlebars and the frame.

highlights

  • Light all-road frame for gravel and road
  • Modern geometry and a tire clearance of up to 42mm
  • All cables and lines run inside the frame
  • Two handlebar options (optionally available)
