The Bora Ultra WTO 60 is designed to turn every watt into pure speed. Its extraordinarily low weight and its efficiency ensure that you not only finish in the top group, but also have the right boost for victory.

The profile of its 60mm high carbon rim, optimized in the wind tunnel, promises precise and safe maneuverability under all conditions. Brand new aerodynamic spokes with hidden nipples reduce drag, while CULT ceramic bearings minimize friction. The carbon hub body with the special Campagnolo design is firmly attached to an aluminum flange and the integrated spoke seats ensure perfect alignment.

As with all Bora Ultra wheels, the rim channel is not drilled, which enables easy tubeless assembly and significantly increases the integrity of the rim and torsional stiffness. It's every sprinter's dream and ideal for every time trial.

The 2-way-fit rim is designed for tubeless, tubeless-ready or clincher tires from 23 mm width, but is aerodynamically optimized for 25 mm tires.

Main advantages

Aerodynamics to the umpteenth power

Approximately 80% of the time in the saddle, the rider is pedaling with a crosswind between 10 and 20 degrees and the Bora Ultra WTO 60 is unmatched in overcoming resistance in this situation. Occasionally it even creates negative drag, also known as a sailing effect. The hourglass shape of the hub and the specially developed flanges reduce the frontal area and the resulting turbulence.

Perfect alignment

Campagnolo presses the holes of the nipples and valves directly with the rims so that the carbon fiber does not have to be drilled out afterwards. Each spoke hole has an internal seat for the nipple, which is extracted from the layered carbon of the rim and specially designed with the correct inclination to connect to the hub. The Aero Mo-Mag nipples are perfectly aligned with each spoke and enable very precise wheel assembly with reduced, localized stresses and improved fatigue strength.

Stop and go

All new Bora Ultra WTO wheels are designed for AFS brake discs (Centerlock compatible). Campagnolo's exclusive G3 spoke system improves the transmission of drive torque. The CULT ceramic bearings used by the Bora Ultra WTO hubs are 5½ times smoother than standard steel bearings. The oversize freewheel with rack with 36 teeth is responsive, very resistant and compatible with N3W, XDR, HG freehub bodies.

HULC - Handmade Ultra light Carbon
The Bora Ultra WTO rims are manufactured using Campagnolo's new HULC process. It is a further development of the exclusive carbon compression molding process, which already produces flawless rims that do not require any additional post-processing. The optimization of the ratio of carbon fiber and resin as well as process improvements ensure a consistently precise shaping of the 2-way fit rim flanks and all other details. The Bora Ultra WTO rims are the lightest Campagnolo has ever made in all of the heights offered. Still, they offer the same rigidity and better mechanical resistance than the already remarkably reliable non-HULC rims.

Cult ™ ceramic bearings
The best Campagnolo ceramic bearings are only installed on the best hubs and sprockets. They represent a significant upgrade over all other bearings. Their high-quality ceramic balls are incredibly round and tough, and rotate in wear-resistant stainless steel ball rails that have been constructed with micrometer tolerances to maximize their efficiency and durability. They do not warp or corrode, have consistent performance over the long term and only need to be cleaned regularly and lubricated with light synthetic oil. CULT ™ bearings have a 40% lower coefficient of friction than standard sealed bearings and have been tested to rotate 5.5 times longer.

Aero Mo-Mag
The innovative Mo-Mag system made it possible to position the nipples inside the rim with the help of a magnet, without having to create additional holes in the channel. Aero Mo-Mag takes another step forward with a completely internal, hidden system that maximizes aerodynamics and allows a lighter rim to be built. The inner nipple seats made of glass fiber reinforced polymer are specific for each rim and hub combination. This guarantees perfect alignment of the spokes and nipples and reduces the stress on the individual components due to the stress. Any adjustment of the spoke tension can still easily be made in the conventional way with the supplied Torx tool.

G3 ™ geometry
Campagnolo's exclusive G3 spoke configuration includes groups of three parallel straight-headed spokes arranged in a 2: 1 ratio. By doubling the number of spokes on one side, the wheels with G3 technology can counteract the asymmetry of the drive system and the braking forces acting on it, which leads to a more symmetrical driving behavior and a load compensation. The energy transfer and the lateral stiffness are improved and the spoke tension is optimized, which reduces the load and increases the service life. All Campagnolo wheels with disc brakes use G3 lacing, whereby the front wheel has more spokes on the disc brake side and the rear wheel is double-spoked on the drive side.
